A Somerset theatre group has announced its latest family-friendly production, based off a well-known detective.
Chameleon Theatre Company's comedy, Sherlock's Excellent Adventure, aims to blend detective mystery with pantomime humour, while including original songs.
The company, created during the Covid-19 pandemic, is staging its first three shows at Sheppy's Cider Farm, between Taunton and Wellington, from June 22-23.
Picnics are available to pre-order, though visitors are also welcome to bring their own food.
The venue also welcomes well-behaved dogs in its orchard area.
Low-backed chairs or picnic blankets are required.
Events are scheduled for the following weekend, with performances on June 29 at Bishops Lydeard Village Hall at 7pm, and June 30 at Oake Village Hall at 3pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £7 for concessions, with under threes being admitted free of charge.
Those wishing to reserve their place can do so by emailing chameleontc@hotmail.com or calling Emma on 07809 129495.
