A school in Frome celebrated its 50th birthday with week-long celebrations last term.
Pupils and staff at Hayesdown First School got in festive spirit between May 20 to May 24, 2024.
The school honoured half a century of education with events attended by current and former pupils, including two ex-headteachers and 85-year-old alumna, Joyce Golay.
Activities comprised an aerial photograph, a Bake Off competition, a community, open-door exhibition Amazing Hayesdown, and commemorative mugs.
While May 24 was a day celebrated with 1970s dressing up.
Hayesdown First School head teacher, Julia Battersby, said: "Hayesdown students and staff made it a week to remember when we celebrated this important milestone.
"The children had spent the term researching the history of the school.
"It was wonderful to see them meet with former staff and pupils and put their learning into practice."
