MARKS & Spencer's Taunton branch is celebrating completing a week of fundraising for a mental health charity.

The branch's ‘Fun-raiser’ for youth mental health charity YoungMinds, helped to raise awareness and much needed funds for those struggling with their mental health.

The Taunton store team carried out a 688-mile bike challenge, cycling the equivalent distance between their store and John O’Groats.

M&S customers can donate to YoungMinds in store or via the M&S website.

It was one of over 360 M&S stores which took part in the fun-raiser week for the charity.

Lisa George, Clothing & Home Team Manager at M&S Taunton, said: “At M&S Taunton we’re proud to be supporting M&S on its fun-raising mission to provide mental health support to young people across the country.

"As a team, we’re proud to have completed our mammoth 688-mile bike challenge whilst working together with our customers to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.

"We loved seeing so many of our customers come in and support the team as we completed our activity.

"If anyone has a young person in their life, take a look at the support YoungMinds can offer online or ask a member of our team for more information.”
