A DIVERSION route will be in place on the A378 as the road will be closed to allow the recovery of a car that hit a pub in Langport.
Temporary lights are in place after a car crash that destroyed the porch of the 600-year-old Langport Arms Hotel.
The car will be removed this Friday (June 14) and the road will close between 6am to 8am on that day.
A Somerset Council spokesperson said: “If you live in Langport or travel along the A378 through town regularly you'll be aware temporary lights are in place following a recent incident involving a car colliding with the Langport Arms Hotel.
“We're pleased to confirm the car will be removed this Friday morning and the site made safe by a contractor acting for the insurer.
“That means the road will need to close between 6am-8am this Friday, June 14, so please plan ahead.
