Royal Mail is hiring for several roles in Taunton, including “popular” postie jobs.

Taunton Delivery Office will hold an open day on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June, according to a post shared by Aimee Foulkes, team leader of operational recruitment at The Royal Mail.

Aimee shared in a post to Taunton Times community Facebook group: “Our local Royal Mail office is hiring! If you know of anyone who’s looking for work or fancies a change from what they do today, please get in touch.

“We are offering immediate start dates and are offering various contracts (pay rates start at £12.54 per hour). 

“We are holding open days at our Taunton Delivery Office on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June. Please note: you’ll need to hold a driving licence for our popular postie roles. 

“No need to book – just come along between 11am-4pm on Saturday or 10am-5pm on Sunday to meet the team and find out a little more about the roles we have available and how you can become part of your local community.
