A section of road between Blagdon Lane and the Withiel turn-off was resurfaced.
Work started on Monday, June 10 to Thursday, June 13 and the council previously said a road closure had to be in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
With an update on X published at 1pm today (June 13), the council said the work was completed early.
A spokesperson for the council also said: “Work was originally planned for later in the year but a postponed scheme elsewhere in the county has freed-up resources and it means the essential maintenance can be done before the summer tourist season starts up in full.”
