A HOUSEBUILDER has launched a public consultation to discuss with residents their proposal for a housing development in Wellington that would include 250 homes.
Wellington Town Council said Persimmon Homes South West is working up outline proposals for a housing development (including affordable housing) with extensive public open space on land off Popes Lane in Rockwell Green.
A public consultation event has been arranged for Thursday, June 27 from 3pm to 6pm at The Well Christian Centre, Rockwell Green, TA21 9BZ.
The town council also added that Persimmon has not submitted a planning application yet.
A spokesperson added: “Members of the public are invited to attend the event to view draft details and discuss the proposals with members of the project team.
“There will also be a dedicated consultation website, which will be going live later this week: www.persimmon-popes-lane.co.uk
“Please note that a planning application has not yet been submitted and that this consultation is run entirely by Persimmon so any queries should be directed to them.”
