SLIM Chickens will be "bringing Southern flavours" to Clarks Village when the new restaurant opens on Friday.
The restaurant is an American brand "celebrated for its buttermilk tenders, freshly made sandwiches, and crispy wings". It will unveil its 53rd establishment at the Street shopping outlet, on Friday, June 12, at noon.
On opening day, the first 30 guests in line will receive a complimentary serving of Slim Chickens’ chicken tenders (three tender pieces).
The chain specialises in "fresh, Southern-inspired dishes that transport you straight to the heart of America", including Slim Chickens’ signature hand-breaded buttermilk-marinated chicken tenders.
They offer crispy wings and fifteen dipping sauces, plus a selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and sides such as fried pickles that they say are a "firm favourite".
Plant-based options are also available. The new Slim Chickens restaurant can seat 50 guests, with sports shown all day. It also offers takeaway options and is available on Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat.
The opening has created 50 job opportunities in Street.
Slim Chickens Golden Tickets are given to every customer who orders a meal in-store via the till, they will be given a ticket to use on their next visit which offers a chance to win free prizes, and "one lucky winner will win free slims for a year (T&C’s apply)."
