A TAUNTON indoor play centre has been recognised for its commitment to sustainability by winning a national award.
Space Adventurers clinched the Sustainability Award at the annual Association of Indoor Play Awards.
The awards celebrate indoor play centres around the UK that have shown a dedication to sustainable practices.
Family Adventures Group co-founder Laura Filer said: "This award means a lot to us, and we are absolutely delighted to have been recognised by our industry peers for our ongoing commitment to sustainability."
She also conveyed the company’s aspirations of playing a vital role in the education of their young customers and the significance of environmental improvement.
Ms Filer continued: "We recognise our operations impact upon the environment, and we are committed to regular monitoring, auditing and reviewing our activities and identifying opportunities for sustainable environmental improvement, in line with our strategic business goals and to minimise the potentially harmful effects of such activity."
Association of Indoor Play chair Janice Dunphy added: "The 2024 Industry Awards symbolise more than just a return to tradition; they represent our sector's incredible resilience and capacity for renewal following an exceptionally challenging period."
