A temporary one-way road order will be in force during The Godney Gathering 2024, for set hours between Friday July 19 to Sunday July 21.
The festival on Garslade Farm, between Wells and Glastonbury, will see a one-way restriction on Godney Road, Wells (in a northerly direction) — from the junction with Common Moor Drove to the junction with Polsham Lane.
Polsham Lane, Wells (in an easterly direction) and Crannel Lane, Wells (in a north easterly direction) will also be entirely under the temporary one-way system.
The temporary one-way order will run from 5pm on Friday July 19 to 1am on Saturday July 20. It will also be in place between 11am on Saturday July 20 and 1am on Sunday July 21.
A Somerset Council notice stated: "The Order will be made to facilitate The Godney Gathering and is in the interest of public safety.
"All closures will be signed and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary."
Emergency vehicles will be exempt from the temporary order.
