Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is holding its annual 5k Twilight Shift fundraiser - and the deadline for registration is fast approaching.
The event, set for Saturday, July 6, will close its online registration at midnight on Thursday, July 4.
Held for the third year at Henstridge Airfield, it is both a recreational and fundraising event, with 500 spaces available for individuals, families, teams, experienced serious runners and fun-loving participants.
Attendees may join at their own pace while supporting a life saving cause that operates every day.
The event is not just for runners.
The public is welcome to enjoy food and drinks at the Henstridge Airfield Cafe or visit stalls like DocBike, Devon Freewheelers Blood Bikes, Restart a Heart: CPR Training, and the Dorset Police.
Events officer Alana Hardy said: "With only two weeks to go, we’re really excited for this year’s 5K Twilight Shift.
"It’s such a special day, as it gives participants a chance to come together to raise funds for a cause that they’re passionate about."
If you want to register for the fundraiser, which is said to be a day of fun and fitness, visit: register.enthuse.com/ps/event/The5KTwilightShift2024
