TAUNTON Brewhouse's Theatre Café is now dog-friendly, with a range of tail-wagging treats on sale.
Dogs are now welcome to join owners in the Theatre Café for lunch, sweet treats, and showtime snacks. It is open weekdays from 10am to 3pm.
The theatre’s new pet policy welcomes dogs into the café area, offering dog-friendly ice cream and “puppuccinos” on the menu, as well as biscuits.
For humans, the menu offers light lunches, including jacket potatoes with various toppings, freshly made soups, and a variety of sandwiches. Plus an array of cakes, brownies, and speciality teas and coffees.
The theatre’s newly refurbished Westward Room, which sits within the historic Brewer’s House, boasts comfy sofas and stylish cafeteria-style seating, complete with stunning views of the River Tone.
The outdoor terrace is also popular over the summer months, perfect for grabbing an al fresco coffee and cake in the sunshine.
Taunton Brewhouse also cater for those who prefer to dine in a dog-free zone, with designated pet-free areas, ensuring everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Executive Director, Vickie Robbins, said: “As a dog lover myself and fur mum to four rescues, I am thrilled that we are now a pet-friendly venue. Our staff and volunteers certainly cannot wait to meet all of your furry friends and hear what you think about our new dog-friendly menu!”
