THESE incredible photographs and video have captured the enormous scale of Glastonbury Festival.

News agency SWNS has shared the footage and pictures taken from above Worthy Farm, which welcomed more than 200,000 festival-goers to watch headline sets from the likes of Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA at the end of June.

Running such a huge site is a mammoth effort that involves a police compound, an on-site medical centre and 7km of private water mains.

The festival contains dozens of different stages and areas to keep the masses entertained throughout the five-day event, such as a Kidzfield, the Theatre & Circus fields, a 60m-long Victorian pier and the late-night South East Corner.

Writing on Instagram after the festival, co-organiser Emily Eavis praised everyone who helps make festival possible.

“As the dust settles on an amazing festival, I want to thank all the wonderful crew who made this show happen, the incredible performers who took the show to another level and all the people who came and brought the best spirit imaginable which created a totally unique and special atmosphere all weekend,” she wrote.

“It’s a vast task and involves everyone’s imagination and dedication and we are so grateful to you all for taking part in whichever way you did.”
