Taunton School has received glowing feedback following an inspection by the Independent School's Inspectorate.
It was praised for its academic pathways, globally diverse community, and how it prepares students for the future.
The co-curricular programme was highlighted as a significant strength.
Inspectors said: "The school’s co-curricular programme is a significant strength, with the activities on offer making a major contribution to pupils’ physical and mental health, and their social, economic and emotional wellbeing".
Head and CEO of Taunton School, James Johnson, said: "I am very proud indeed of the whole school community - students, teachers and operations staff - who all made such a positive impression on the inspectors."
He also expressed satisfaction with the inspectors recognising the unique community, academic offer, and co-curricular programme at the school.
The inspection report commended Taunton School as a nurturing and vibrant community.
It observed that school leaders foster respect and cherish diversity, prioritising students' emotional and physical wellbeing.
This approach allows students to feel valued, safe, and happy.
The inspection also found that the school prepares students well for life.
The Independent Schools’ Inspectorate provides unbiased, evidence-based reports on independent schools every three years.
