TAUNTON'S Crown Medical Centre is "experiencing IT issues with no access to their clinical system, emails and internet, and limited phone access", its practice manager has warned.
Claire Gregory posted to Facebook, on the morning of Thursday, July 11, writing: "Crown Medical Centre is currently experiencing IT issues with no access to their clinical system, emails and internet and limited phone access (cannot answer as many incoming calls).
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our patients and hope to get things back up and running ASAP."
She then responded to a comment asking if it was part of wider connectivity issues, writing: "Yes we’ve been told it’s an exchange problem so BT open reach working on it……"
At around 2pm, Mrs Gregory gave the update: "Still experiencing problems. Again, we can only apologise but it’s completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding."
