HAYGROVE School students paused their prom to celebrate the incredible moment England scored its place in the Euro finals.
While enjoying their Year 11 prom at Oake Manor, Taunton, on Wednesday night, July 10, the students gathered around the big screen to catch the England vs. Netherlands game as it ended 2-1.
In a video of the memorable moment, a teacher can be seen making a quick exit from the crowd of students as they burst into a roaring celebration following England's final goal.
Oake Manor shared the video to Facebook, with the caption: "The icing on the cake when you’re at your School Leavers Prom… and England are through to the Euro 2024 Final!!"
The students from Bridgwater's Haygrove School are unlikely to forget their prom in a hurry, and not only because of The Three Lion's performance.
Students were seen arriving at the venue in an impressive array of luxury cars, a quadbike, and even riding a horse.
Later in the night students were seen on the dancefloor singing along to "It's Coming Home".
