A BUSY Wells road is set to close for three days this month, due to Wessex Water replacing a manhole chamber.
St Thomas Street, which leads on from Bath Road, will be closed from the junction with Tor Street, north-eastwards for a total distance of 31 metres.
The works are expected to commence on July 29, 2024 and last until July 31, 2024 between the hours of 00:00 and 23:59 for three days.
Works will be happening outside of The Fountain Inn, which is expected to remain open as normal.
A lengthy planned diversion route will be in place up Frome Road, through Shepton Mallet, and back through Croscombe and Dulcote on the B3139.
