WARDENS are at work in a green area in Taunton to clear the waste left behind by an unauthorised encampment.
The town council team is at work at Taunton Green where they also repaired a damaged bench.
A Taunton Town Council spokesperson said: “The Taunton Green tidy-up following the unauthorised encampment continues.
“The wardens cleared away the green waste left behind and repaired a bench that had been damaged.
“While they were there, they added a coat of anti-climb paint to the tennis court fencing.”

Taunton Green is situated near Cheddon Road.
The site has two children’s play areas, three tennis courts, a multi-use games area, three football pitches, a changing pavilion, and a car park.
This is an inclusive play area site, with playground equipment that less able children can enjoy while encouraging cooperative play.
