POLICE officers are appealing for the public’s help to find the owner of a mobility scooter they found in Taunton.
Police said they recovered the scooter in the Obridge Road area of Taunton and would like to trace its owner, as they “are sure is feeling lost without it”.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Our colleagues in the response policing team have recovered a mobility scooter found in the Obridge Road area of Taunton overnight.
If this belongs to you, or a family member/friend, please do get in touch on 101 quoting 5224181830.
“You will need to provide proof of purchase, and ownership details.
“Thank you, let's try and get this back to the owner, who we're sure is feeling lost without it.”
