WOOKEY Hole has several new attractions for visitors touring their caves this summer holiday — from a giant model of the moon to a new Wild West-themed circus.
The Cheddar Gorge-based, independent, family-run attraction will run "magical summer days out" from July 25 to September 1, all included in the day ticket price.
Day tickets cost £24 for adults, £19 for children ages 3 to 15 inclusive, and £22 for seniors.
A 4D cinema experience, for children aged three and over, will show the Chaos In Wonderland movie throughout the day. It sees "unlikely heroes save an amusement park from the chaos the now-living dinosaurs, pirates, and other fairytale characters create."
Visitors can also enjoy a live-action Wild West-themed circus show, performed three times a day by the "much-loved" Wookey Hole Circus. The show encompasses daredevil tricks, bound to make the audience’s adrenaline spike.
Inside the caves, guests can search for Wookey's recently added giant model moon, which is 5.5 meters in size and hidden deep inside the caves — and of course, be on the lookout for the "legendary Witch of Wookey Hole".
There is also an indoor softplay, outdoor activities like pirate-themed crazy golf, and prehistoric giants in the Dinosaur Grove.
Those travelling from afar can stay at either the Wookey Hole Hotel or Mendip View Hop Tub Lodges, that have Wookey Hole tickets included.
Ellen Ramsey, a spokesperson for Wookey Hole, said: “We can’t wait to welcome visitors from all corners of the UK and beyond, for a Summer of adventure and magic at Wookey Hole!
"The addition of the moon to our caves added an extra touch of magic and our newest, the Wild West-themed circus is going down a storm.
"We’re excited to share the wonders of Wookey Hole and create unforgettable memories for families and friends alike in the Summer holidays.”
Ellen added: “Whether it is your first visit or your tenth, Wookey Hole offers a truly unforgettable day out, from exploring the deepest depths of the caves to the beautiful valley, through to the magical circus show and pirate-themed golf course, there is really something for everyone – and it’s all included in the ticket price!”
Wookey Hole's caves were millions of years in the making, and that's not all there is to do with plenty on offer inside or out. To find out more visit www.wookey.co.uk.
