Knights Templar Community Church School in Watchet is celebrating the recent installation of a set of electric gates provided by a housebuilder.
The enhanced security feature is the result of Summerfield Homes' ongoing community-driven initiative.
The gates have been relocated closer to the school grounds and will enhance the safety and security of the students and staff.
This follows after a 16-space car park was donated by Summerfield Homes in 2022.
Summerfield Homes, based in Taunton, Somerset, has built over 2,000 properties in more than 50 locations across the Southwest, and is known for high-quality builds to premium specifications.
Mark Woodland, Summerfield Homes projects manager, said: "We would like to thank Laura and the team at Knights Templar for being so accommodating during the ongoing construction of Liddymore Park.
"It's great to give back to our local community and provide valuable resources that benefit the school daily."
Mrs Laura Weaver, the school headteacher, said: "The new school gates will greatly improve the overall security of the school.
"It has been a pleasure to work with Mark and Summerfield Homes on this project and we are grateful to them for being so adaptable throughout the process."
