The Glastonbury And Street Pottymouth Squad (GASPS) will bring its iconic adult panto to seven venues across Somerset in the New Year.

They are returning for a third year after previously raising more than £20,000 to channel into local amateur dramatics across the county.

Eagerly anticipated by fans, GASPS is set to bring its signature style of adult humour and comedy with its pantomime, A-lad-in (he loves a good rub).

The show is scheduled to run at numerous locations across Somerset in January and February.

Following the footsteps of its previous pantos, Sinders and Snow *hite, which were sell-outs and garnered £21,000 for the Glastonbury and Street Musical Comedy Society, GASPS anticipates A-Lad-in will replicate or even surpass this success.

The cast and crew are composed of well-known faces in Somerset’s local theatre scene, including the show’s director for a third year, Brian Epps, who has been involved in theatre for over six decades.

Expressing his excitement, Mr Epps said: "Wow, here we are again with another helping of pure and utter filth, and the people of Somerset absolutely love it.

"Our last show sold out in record time, and it seems getting tickets for Glastonbury Festival are easier than for our pantos."

Mr Epps states that the joy these shows bring to the cast, crew, and audiences is simply unmatchable.

"Our first two pantos have been a phenomenal success, and we think A-lad-in will rub everyone up the right way and be even more successful," he added.

A-lad-in (loves a good rub), sponsored by The Mad Hatter in Yeovil, will tour places including West Pennard, Somerton, Weston-super-Mare, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury and Bridgwater from January 22.

The arrival of GASPS is also marked at the city’s hottest venue in Studio 24 of Wells, where it will put on its unique panto party night.

Tickets, which start at £17.50, went on sale on July 8 and are available via the GASPS’ website.
