HAVEN'S Somerset holiday parks are recruiting for 130 roles this summer, hiring across activities, leisure, hospitality and housekeeping.
The recruitment drive comes as Haven expects to welcome 3.6 million guests across its 41 UK parks in 2024 — including its Burnham-on-Sea and Doniford Bay parks in Somerset.
Haven expects a surge in visitors this year, up 13% from 2023, and is hiring to support this growing demand.
The employer "welcomes individuals of all ages and experience levels, offering a diverse range of exciting seasonal jobs".
There are roles available in activities and leisure, which involve supervising activities such as target shooting, archery, rock climbing, and more.
Jobs are also available in housekeeping, lifeguarding, and hospitality. Vacancies can be found at jobs.haven.com.
Nola Ferguson, Head of Talent Acquisition at Haven, said: "As we prepare for yet another busy summer season in Somerset, it’s an exciting time for talented individuals from the local community to join our dynamic and award-winning team.
"Haven is a fantastic place to work for people of all levels of experience, with comprehensive training programmes in place for every position.
"From school-leavers wanting to take their first steps on the career ladder to individuals looking for part-time employment over the summer months, there is a perfect role available at Haven, with many team members returning to our parks year after year.”
Haven employs over 16,000 people across the UK. Since 2021, Haven has invested more than £400 million into its parks, including over £170 million in 2023.
The holiday park operator said this investment has allowed it to offer "a wider range of entertainment concepts and on-park experiences", including new activities and entertainment facilities such as adventure villages and show bars.
