WAGAMAMA will open in Street's Clarks Village on Monday, with 60 new jobs created in the town.
The new restaurant will open its doors on Monday, July 22, serving up dishes based on Japanese cuisine with a 50% plant-based menu.
Wagamama will offer "fresh dishes and outdoor seating" with views of the river in the sunshine.
Its summer menu includes saku saku soba, with a choice of crispy shredded duck or crispy pulled shiitake. Crispy otsumami with a choice of beef, salmon or pulled shiitake, presented in six squares of fried rice, soaked in a soy and yuzu dressing, topped with smashed avocado, edamame and siracha mayo.
Also on offer are "unique drinks", from sangrias to shiso mojitos, including a pad thai sour cocktail – inspired by the flavour of the Thai stir fried favourite, pad Thai.
The restaurant has 172 covers, including space for 40 people outside. It will be open seven days a week and will be Wagamama’s 167th restaurant to open in the UK.
Sita Wood, Head of Regional Marketing at Wagamama said: “Our fantastic new team have been working hard to ensure we’ll bring our much-loved wagamama experience to our guests and they’re so excited to land in their beautiful new restaurant once work is complete.”
