THE Children's area at the Taunton Flower Show brings entertainment for all ages — with free entry and shows for children.
Children aged 17 and under can enter the show free with a paying adult and can enjoy delights including an Extreme Bike Battle, falconry, and sheepdogs in the arena.
In the Children’s Village, they can be entertained with performances from Magical Alex who puts on a close-up magic show, a mini-theatre, and balloon modelling workshops.
All activities are free of charge, including face painting from Angel Art, which is available on both days.
The show said it was "grateful to Taunton Town Council for their support with keeping activities free within the show".
Somerset County Scouts will be running Parachute Games on Friday at 11.15 and 13.05, and on Saturday at 12:50.
Girl Guide volunteers will also be onsite with activities, including 'Ready, Steady, Garden!', which will give kids the chance to make their own mini garden.
There will be a safe and discreet facility for parents to feed and change their babies and children, thanks to the Royal College of Midwives, Taunton Branch.
Organisers of the show said that it "aims to provide a great day out for families by keeping the costs as low as possible".
