THOSE heading to Frome from Bruton may need to change their plans next month as a section of the A359 is set to close.
Traffic heading Northbound from Station Road's junction with Frog Lane will be forced to take a diversion due to delays caused by the closure.
The road near Wanstrow will be closed from August 5 to 16 for 24 hours per day over the 12-day period.
A lengthy diversion is in place for people travelling near BA4, with vehicles heading northbound directed to turn around and drive via the A359 towards Pitcombe before joining onto the A371.
For vehicles arriving southbound, head back down the A359 towards the A361 by Prestleigh.
NJ Cavill LTD has been granted planning permission to carry out work on a new development in the area, on behalf of Tootle Bridge Properties.
