A fundraiser for those living with sight loss, in which guests are invited to enjoy a black tie evening of canapés, dinner and coffee while blindfolded, is now selling tickets.
The Old Bridge in South Petherton will play host to Somerset Sight's Dining in the Dark fundraiser on Friday, August 9 at 6:30pm.
Canapés and a welcome drink will be served on arrival, with dinner and coffee to follow as well as Heads and Tails and an auction.
The event is intended to be a journey of the senses.
Jackie Sopwith, CEO of Somerset Sight, said: "Dining in the Dark is an amazing experience as it brings home the isolation and difficulties of living with sight loss.
"By supporting this event you can help ensure Somerset Sight can continue to provide practical and emotional support to the 3000 people in the county with sight loss and to the 600 who are newly diagnosed each year."
Tickets, £75 per person, are available by calling 01823 333818.
