TAUNTON'S most expensive streets, and least, have been revealed by an analysis of sold house price data over the past five years.

Topping the list is Comeytrowe Lane, with five houses sold for an average price of £1,155,600. Next on the list are Beech Close and Elm Grove, each with three houses sold since 2019, costing a staggering average of £845,000 and £800,000 respectively.

Meanwhile, the cheapest residential streets in Taunton include Ladysmith House, Beech Court and Victoria Gate, according to the analysis by Property Solvers which tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019.

On Ladysmith House six properties sold for an average of £85,916. Beech Court saw 12 properties sold for an average of £88,614 and in Victoria Gate three properties sold for an average of £90,833.

Commenting on the data, Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: "To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.”  

"It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Comeytrowe Lane (TA1) sold for £1,500,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £60,000 and under on Allington Close (TA1), Allington Close (TA1) and Northfield Gardens (TA1)."
