AN international contemporary art gallery located in Bruton has announced its second major solo exhibition.
FEIN Collections will soon host ‘Nurturing Shades and Leading Pieces’, featuring the work of acclaimed artist Gareth Lloyd.
The upcoming exhibition presents new paintings of mythical Lake Nemi, revealing evolving notations and the nurturing processes of the painting act.
In dramatic contrast the tryptic, Action Hero, re-contextualises pulp fiction assassin images.
The exhibit will also display key works of the British-born artist from the past forty years, uniquely highlighting the remarkable development of themes and techniques.
Critic Paul Ryan, said: "The paintings of Gareth Lloyd make one inescapable demand that the viewer be in their presence."
The Bruton art gallery will be presenting the exhibit from September 7 through to November 7.
FEIN Collections aims to bring together the work of seven contemporary artists from around the world, promoting each artist’s individual and unique methods and talents while contributing to Bruton’s reputation as a hub for the visual and plastic arts.
This is the gallery’s second solo exhibit, following ‘Dancing on the Razor’s Edge’ by Dovid Hansen, which was displayed in June.
It is located at Unit 7, Old Mill Business Park, Station Road Industrial Estates, Bruton, Somerset BA10 0EH and is open between 10am to 4pm from Wednesday to Saturday, but private appointments are also available outside of these hours.
