GOT a project in mind that you think could work in Bridgwater? A charity is looking for artists to get involved by bringing creative ideas to life.
Bridgwater-based charity ‘Seed’ is looking for people to propose ideas to be based in Bridgwater this year, including a popup space at Angel Place Shopping Centre.
Backed by funding from Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places Programme, Seed is a company that helps create free creative projects and activities across Sedgemoor.
Recent Seed events include The Front Garden Music Festival, Hidden Station in Bridgwater, Moments on Mendip in Cheddar, and Blues in the Pews in Highbridge.
If you are an artist or have an idea for a project, then you can get involved by going to the Seed website.
Seed wants to connect as many diverse communities together as possible and believes this can be done by people from Somerset showcasing their artistic talent with free events for the public.
Seed director, Scott O’Hara said: “We are thrilled to partner Angel Place to offer a fantastic popup creative arts space for the next 12 months.
“We are now looking to commission artists and community groups to undertake activities over the next nine months.
“We will also be looking to present some of our existing activities from around Sedgemoor at the Angel Place popup, including the Individuality Project.”
