A PARK-and-ride site in Taunton will close temporarily to allow the replacement of a height barrier.
Taunton’s Gateway Park and Ride site will need to close for one hour today (Wednesday, August 7).
People who were planning to use the site for hospital appointments, are advised to use the Silk Mills Park and Ride instead.
A spokesperson for the council said: “The temporary closure between 1.30-2.30pm is to allow Somerset Council to replace a height barrier and fencing.
“The barrier restricts access to all vehicles over two metres.
“The public are reminded that if they need to access the Park and Ride during this time for hospital appointments, they should use the Silk Mills Park and Ride.”
