A Peppa Pig-themed event is coming to Butlin's Minehead Resort this month.

Planned by toy giant Hasbro in collaboration with Amazon, 'Peppa’s Dance Party' will take place at the Butlin's resort from August 17 to September 1.

The festivities are part of the 20th anniversary celebration for the popular preschooler's television series, Peppa Pig.

Attendees will be treated to a live show that encourages kids and families to get up and dance to Peppa’s latest single, the 'Piggle Wiggle'.

There will also be traditional party games, interactive dress-up activities, and appearances from everyone's favourite Peppa Pig characters.

In addition to the dance party, Butlin's will also offer a Peppa show and 'Circus Celebration'.

These shows are included in the price of a holiday or day pass, a package exclusive to Butlin's resorts in the UK.

Amazon is helping extend the fun beyond the UK with a new 'Alexa Skill', teaching children how to do the Piggle Wiggle dance and other activities.

The Peppa’s Dance Party Alexa Skill can be accessed simply by saying, "Alexa, open Peppa’s Dance Party."

Several Peppa Pig-themed products are being released in conjunction with the dance party celebration.

These include an exclusive Peppa’s Dance Party Playset, a new line of Peppa baking toys, 'Dancing Muddy Puddles' Peppa, 'Sing With Me' Peppa, and a variety of partywear for the whole family.

Summer day passes at Butlin's Minehead start from £27 for an adult and £19 for a child.
