AN EVENING closure of the A358 near Taunton will be in place early next week.
Somerset Council’s team will be in Combe Florey to carry out works ahead of surface dressing that will take place later this month.
The closure will be in place on Monday, August 5 from 7pm.
This will, however, depend on weather conditions, and the works may take place on Tuesday, August 6.
Travel Somerset said: “Please be advised our team will be in the Combe Florey A358 area early next week to carry out works ahead of surface dressing later in the month.
“This will require an evening closure of the A358 from 7pm.
“We are expecting this to be Monday, August 5, depending on weather.
“The closure is in place until 6am, but the team is aiming to finish before then.
“Depending on conditions and schedules, this may take place on Tuesday.”
