Young photographers in Somerset have been invited to enter a competition with a chance of winning £50.
Open to youngsters aged 11 to 18, the competition also offers the opportunity to have their work displayed at The Bishop's Palace in Wells.
The competition has three categories: Nature, Water, and Buildings.
Community engagement manager, Siobhan Goodwin, said "This competition was the idea of young people who have been volunteering at the palace this year as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award.
"They thought it would be a great way to get more young people involved at The Bishop’s Palace.
"We’re asking that all photographs are taken in or around The Bishop’s Palace.
"Entrants don't need an entrance ticket to take part as there are lots of lovely views around the moat and in the area by the Bishop's Table café.
"In fact, we’ve already received some fabulous entries."
To boost chances of capturing awe-inspiring shots, free workshops with a professional photographer have been arranged.
Workshops are scheduled for Monday, August 19, 11am to 1pm and Friday, August 30, 2pm to 4pm.
Places are limited and require advanced booking by email: siobhan.goodwin@bishopspalace.org.uk
Entries are to be submitted by 4pm on September 15.
