A TWO-vehicle collision closed the A361 near Taunton on Friday, with police enquiries ongoing.
Police attended the scene on the A361 through East Lyng on August 16, after being called to a report of a two-vehicle collision at around 6:45pm.
The A361 was closed in both directions from the junction with Cuts Road, Burrowbridge and the A38. It was cleared by around 9:30pm on Friday evening.
A statement from Avon and Somerset Police reads: "Officers are at the scene of a collision on the A361 in East Lyng, near Taunton, today (Friday 16 August).
"Officers were called at around 6.45pm following a report of a two-vehicle collision and remain on the scene.
"The A361 is closed in both directions from the junction with Cuts Road, Burrowbridge and the A38.
"Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes while enquiries continue."
