GREAT news for truck enthusiasts as the ‘perfect event to end the summer’ comes to Somerset.
Truckfest is returning to Shepton Mallet this summer after a great success at last year’s event.
Truckers, truck fans and families who have enjoyed this annual spectacle all over the UK for many years will again be able to walk around the showground to get those all-important photographs of the UK's top trucks on display.
From some Monster classics to giant American Super trucks, this is an event that looks like one to watch.
Known as Europe's biggest truck festival, there will also be live music performing over the course of the two days as well as a chance to meet The Gladiators from the popular BBC TV show.
Tickets are available to be purchased right now for the event which will be held at the Royal Bath and West Showground on 31 August and 1 September.
The main arena will be hosted by celebrity Ice Road Trucker Star, Todd Dewey.
Todd will be joined by a host of popular Monster truck rides including ‘Swampthing’ and ‘Slingshot’ and stunt bikes, Broke FMX.
Truckfest’s Event Director Colin Ward said: “Our team always make sure that we bring you the event you have grown to love over the past 41 years.
“Whenever we ask our visitors why they come to Truckfest the reply is always the same ‘We have come for the Trucks’, and we promise you we will still have lots of trucks and lots of family fun for all the family at Truckfest south west.
“We ask you for your convenience to pre-book online and you can do so on the Truckfest website where you will of course enjoy the pre-booking discount.
“Your advanced ticket will also ensure swifter entry into the event.”
