POLICE have issued an image of a man they would like to identify in connection to an incident during which “a man inappropriately touched three teenage girls” at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Avon and Somerset Police said the incident took place at around 10.45pm on Sunday, June 30, in front of the Pyramid Stage.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We’re releasing an image of a man we need the public’s help to identify.

“We think the man may have information which could help officers investigating an incident which took place at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

“A man inappropriately touched three teenage girls at approximately 10.45pm on Sunday 30 June in front of the Pyramid Stage.

“The man in the image we’re releasing is described as white, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, tall with short brown hair. He appears to be wearing a top with a University of Leeds logo on the chest.

“The victims were provided with access to specialist support services immediately following the incident and these continue to be available to them.

“Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to phone 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5224169887.
