TWO people were taken to hospital after a single-vehicle collision near Street in which a Range Rover hit a wall.

It happened on Tuesday, August 27 on the B3151 and a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said a man and woman, both in their 70s, went to hospital by ambulance and were discharged the next day.

The force is now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage and is “especially keen to trace the occupants of a grey Mercedes car which stopped at the scene as they may have witnessed the collision”.
