TAKING place on the first weekend of September is the Somerset Jazz Festival.
Described as a “small, friendly festival with great food and drink”, the Somerset Jazz Festival look to be a great event this year with tickets likely to sell out.
The line-up for this year’s Somerset Jazz Festival includes Lady Nade, Shirley Smart, Gin Bowlers, Jake Leg Jug Band, Ruby Jazz Band, Luke Purbrick Quartet, Frome Jazz Club Allstars and more.
Day tickets start from £45 for adults on Saturday, with tickets costing just £17.50 on Sunday.
Under-16s go free all weekend.
Online the event states that "well-behaved Dogs are Welcome."
It is a working farm, therefore some parts of the area around the camping fields and festival fields will have livestock and other activities taking place.
Event organisers for the festival said: “There will also be other dogs on site in the camping and festival fields. If you are happy, your dog will cope and behave okay then we are happy to see them. With no charge for dogs.
Labelled "the most beautiful site in Somerset", the festival will be held in Radford Mill Farm this weekend on September 6 and 7, 2024.
This is the 3rd year in a row since the Jazz Festival was introduced in 2022, with 2023 proving really popular with 20’s Jazz to contemporary fusions incorporating African and Eastern European traditions with many stops in between being played.
Camping space has “sold out” on the website, but more information about the event and how to purchase tickets is available online.
The address for the event is Radford Mill Farm, Radford (near Timsbury), BA2 0QF.
