Nynehead Court care home in Wellington will host its very own Fun Dog Show this September.
The special event for our four-legged friends will take place on September 7 from 2pm, with registration starting at 1pm.
There will be 10 categories for dogs to enter, with at least one sure to suit every pooch.
Home manager Joanne Fenn said: "We love dogs at Nynehead Court and often have them visiting us with family members, or as part of our pet therapy activities.
"We are really excited to be holding a Fun Dog Show in our grounds, and are looking forward to seeing the wide variety of breeds which will come through our gates."
As well as the dog show, there will be stalls offering gift items, a tombola, raffle, face painting, and children's tattoos.
The care home, set in 18 acres of parkland, provides residential care for 44 people and close care housing for 11 retirees or couples.
The popular Mulberry Lounge caters for those requiring more support, with a higher ratio of staff to residents.
At the other end of the spectrum, the 11 close care mews houses provide the opportunity to extend home ownership and live independently, safe in the knowledge that every level of care, support and security is available, when and if required.
