A YEOVIL man has admitted attacking a youth in the town.
Stewart Walley, 32, of South Street in the town, pleaded guilty to assault by beating against the youngster, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
The offence, which was contrary to the Criminal Justice Act 1988, occurred on June 27 this year.
Magistrates in Yeovil imposed a 12-month community order on Walley and ordered him to carry out 80 hours unpaid work in the community.
He must also pay £85 towards Crown Prosecution costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
