A STRETCH of road in Taunton town centre will be closed for a day later this month.
A 40-metre section of The Bridge will be closed to southbound traffic on Sunday, September 22, to allow Wessex Water to install a new connection.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “A 40 metre section of The Bridge will be closed to southbound traffic from the junction with St James Street on Sunday, September 22, allowing us to install a new connection.
“This has been scheduled for a Sunday to minimise disruption and the partial closure will mean we can work quickly and safely. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.”
