Meareway Lane in Mear will be closed for two days this week.
It will take place from September 9 to September 10, between the hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Traffic will be prohibited from proceeding from the junction with St Marys Road, northwards for a total distance of 133 metres.
This will enable Bristol Water to carry out remedial work.
It was revealed in a public notice posted on the Public Notice Portal on September 5.
Bristol Water can be contacted on 0345 702 3797 for further details on the ongoing works.
Motorists are encouraged to quote reference number ttro983949E.
Alternative routes for commuting have been listed on https://one.network/?tm=139048679.
For future closures beyond a fortnight, free registration with One.Network is recommended.
The closure has been enacted due to the planned works and a desire to avoid risk of public danger or serious damage to the road.
