SOMERSET’S Clarks Village was transformed into a pet paradise for its “pup-tastic” Pawsome Pooch event.
Held over two days, four-legged friends were taking part in agility sessions and trick displays as well as being pampered and posing for professional photo shoots.
Each dog pictured at the event will be put forward for a competition to find Clarks Village’s new CEO – Canine Executive Officer.
On the day, the pup of honour was awarded to Bailey the Whippet, recognised as Clarks Village’s inaugural Pawsome Pooch.
Owner Harriet French commented: “Bailey received star treatment from everyone organising the event and enjoyed being recognised as she took part in the activities.
“She even had fellow shoppers asking to take a picture of her in her crown.”
Top dog judges from the event will now choose the entries which will make the shortlist to go through to a public vote on the outlet’s social media channels.
The shortlist will be announced later this week, and the winner will also receive a prize package worth over £500.
Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, commented: “It was incredible to see so many happy dogs and owners who had travelled especially to be here and were treated to some fantastic experiences and a memorable day out here at Clarks Village.”
