A PUB near Taunton is hosting a free event, including a hog roast and live music, following a change of ownership.
The event will begin this Friday (September 20).
The Allerford Inn is a “gorgeous country pub” in Norton Fitzwarren.
The pub near Taunton has recently undergone several changes including new ownership taking over after 10 years of previous ownership.
In a statement posted via Facebook, it was announced owners Tim and Tom Adams were “handing over the reins to a new team”.
The pub is continuing to serve its locals and new customers by keeping the tradition of having the carvery available every Sunday.
At the event, live music will be played including a set from Hazy Days.
The Allerford Inn have the hog roast roll listed at £14 with buttery roast potatoes, stuffing and veg.
Work has already started at the Allerford Inn, with new windows and work on the roof in the last week as the pub looks to “freshen up” under new ownership.
The Allerford Inn has said: “Come and join us on Friday 20 September where we will host a live band and a hog roast.
“We will be hosting Room Number Two, and serving juicy Hog Roast with all the trimmings, with the best crackling around.
“This is a FREE event with no booking or tickets required.
“We just want our customers to know; the staff are the same, the suppliers are the same, the food will be the same...
“Especially our famous carvery.”
