P&P Auto Services are organizing a fundraiser for the flood victims in the Kłodzko Valley, an area of Poland damaged by Storm Boris.
The business said their workshop is run by Pete, who is from Poland, and they have “always been committed to helping our community”.
A message shared on social media by the business based in Norton Fitzwarren read: “This beautiful area has been devastated by flooding for the second time in 27 years.
“Many of those affected are our close friends and family, now facing huge challenges. Essentials like food, water, and fuel are in short supply.
“As many of you know, our workshop is run by Pete, who is from Poland, and we’ve always been committed to helping our community.
“We would be extremely grateful for any contributions to help with the recovery and rebuilding of this special part of Poland.
“Even small donations will make a big difference to those in need. Thank you for your support.
“The support will go to our friend Ola, who is organizing aid at her hotel, Górski Poranek. She is helping her neighbours in Stronie Śląskie.
“All donations will be transferred directly to Ola to help families buy essential equipment and furniture to rebuild their homes and lives.”
