A SHORTLIST of dogs has been put forward to become Clark’s Village’s new ‘CEO’.
One lucky pup will be awarded the role of new CEO (Canine Executive Officer) and will be in charge of “all things dog-related” at the Somerset shopping outlet after attending the dog-friendly Pawsome Pooch event.
Hundreds of pet portraits were taken by professional pet pup-arazzi photographers at a Clarks Village event and judges have now revealed the final shortlist of dogs with a chance of scooping the prize.
The winner will also receive a prize package worth more than £500 including shopping vouchers and a pet-spa minibreak at the dog-friendly Montigo Resorts hotel.
The eventual winner will be announced this week on Friday 20 September following the public vote that has been live on Clarks Village’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
The dogs up for the award are:
Nova: Collie
Hugo: Dalmatian
Dudley: Hungarian Vizslia
Elsie: Bearded Collie
Koppa: Bracco Italiano
Peter: Miniature Dachshund
Monty: Cocker Spaniel
Luka: Spitz
Fox: Cockapoo
Daisy: Labrador
Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, commented: “Clarks Village has long been dog friendly with four-legged friends welcome throughout the outlet and in many of our brands; Pawsome Pooch is a celebration of this.
“At the heart of the event is a contest to award one dog the title of Canine Executive Officer and we can’t wait to welcome the winner on board to our team.
“With the shortlist announced, we now invite guests to cast their vote to have their say on their favourite dog to become 2024’s most Pawsome Pooch.”
