A car show featuring a 1928 4.5L Bentley Le Mans raised nearly £4,000 for a school near Yeovil.
The event, held on Bank Holiday Monday at Tintinhull Primary (St Margaret’s CEVA School), attracted 250 people and showcased a collection of 105 vintage and modern cars.
A total of £3,400 was raised for the school.
The Bentley, which raced at Le Mans last year and completed the three-month Rally of New Zealand, was the star of the show.
Other cars on display included a 1908 Model T Ford, vintage MGs, a 2005 XK8 Jaguar, a 1963 Mini van, a Ferrari, and a Hot Rod kit car.
The show also commemorated D-Day with American Jeeps and a 1944 American half-track.
Hayley Robinson, the headteacher, said: "It’s been another great show and we’re so grateful to Richard Pither for organising it with the support of Yeo Vale Rotary Club and to everyone, who’s made it such a success."
Classic hits from Johnny Cash, The Stones, and Procul Harum were played throughout the day, and there were stalls selling hot dogs, wood-fired pizza, ice cream, books, and a raffle.
Stuart Annott, who exhibits his White Badge Jaguar throughout Somerset, said: "This is a great event and a lovely friendly experience for car owners."
