TAUNTON Independent Market is returning to Castle Green with various stalls, live music and more later this month.

The market is a part of Taunton Together's first-ever festival, as it comes to town on Saturday, September 28 with a “special edition” of the market.

Taunton Together is an event run by the Taunton Town Council that celebrates diversity, community, and creativity.

Live music is regularly played at the Taunton Independent Market, events with a Brazilian samba band and brass players walking through the Castle Green.

There is truly something for everyone; from bakeries, breweries, artists and wellness businesses all showcasing their goods.

Commenting on the build-up to the event this month, a representative from the Taunton Town Council said, “This Saturday marks just one week until Taunton Together. 

“This is a FREE end-of-summer celebration, brought to you by Taunton Town Council from 11 am – 7 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

“It's our first ever festival, a celebration of our rich heritage, community, culture, and diversity, in the heart of Taunton town centre.”
