JEREMY Clarkson’s popular beer brand has well and truly landed in Somerset, with a Taunton pub now stocking two of his beverage options.
Since its arrival in June, Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies.
According to data from The Times, Hawkstone Lager has made over £8 million in sales since its inception.
Jeremy Clarkson's beer brand has got a new home in a Taunton pub, with The Fortune Inn revealing that they are selling both the session lager and the premium lager.
The Fortune Inn is based on 40 Kingston Road, Taunton and is described as “An old pub and Chinese restaurant in one” and a “brilliant place for a night out with family and friends with fantastic, tasty Chinese food.”
Speaking on the creation of his alcohol brand in 2021, Jeremy Clarkson said: “They say that God took six days to create the world.
“The thing is it takes 30 days to create my Hawkstone lager which means my lager is six times better than the world.”
The former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter swapped cars for agriculture when he started filming Clarkson’s Farm at his Oxfordshire farm.
With the Prime Video documentary starting in 2021, Jeremy has shined a light on the trials and tribulations of British farming.
Amongst the produce made from farm ingredients included Clarkson’s own Hawkstone lager alongside the Hawkstone cider which is made by co-star Kaleb Cooper.
Commenting on the new arrivals at the pub, owners at the Fortune Inn in Taunton said: “Jeremy’s Thinking Juice has finally arrived!
“That’s right – Hawkstone Lager is now on tap! Both the Session Lager and Premium Lager are here to quench your thirst with the perfect pint.
“Whether you’re in for a light and crisp refreshment or something richer, we’ve got just what you need!
“Doors open at 2 pm today (Friday 20 September), so come and get your hands on a glass of what can only be described as ‘Thinking Juice’ and pair it with your favourite Chinese dishes.
“Trust us, it’ll get the ideas flowing.”
